Welshpool

Its the yearly excursion of the Deauville Owners club this weekend. We now ride a 1300cc Pan European but are still made very welcome by the group. We were in Northern Ireland last year and this year sees us in Wales, Welshpool to be precise. There are some great roads around these parts but they have to be treated with care and respect. This was evidenced by one poor guy falling off twice whilst on a particularly narrow windey and gravelly section, very unfortunate.
We covered about 160 miles today after arriving via the Ponty acquaduct yesterday. Tomorrow is forecast wall to wall rain so wherever we go it will be wet!

This was the group waiting after hearing of a rider down....

We took over Portmadog seafront

This was taken at the last stop and you can see the valley road we were headed for. This leads not the A458, a road of pure biking pleasure. One to remember long after the first salt is spread next winter !

One for the blog for the yearly reflection,
