Day one.....

Well as you might have expected we did not get away unto gone 12. Slow through Fradley - we stopped for diesel and a pump out - only to be told the pump out was 'full' so we cruised on to Kings Bromley marina for the same only to find it was CLOSED - Rachel made a fantastic entrance and exit - why can't they put a sign out on the canal -save an unnecessary manoeuvre.

We stopped just short of our planned destination at about 7pm just after bridge 70 on the T&M

No photo's and a slow connection would not allow it anyway....

The problem with the pump out being full is that all the marina shows and wash basins feed into it. If the people showered on their boats it would just go into the cut, but because its a building it has to go into a tank.

Brian,

It was the pump out tank at Swallow at redley that was full - the facilities at Kings Bromley were jut shut with sogn on the canas - on he contrary - they were advertising all their services?

It seems a little daft that the grey water at the marina goes into a holding tank?

I did notice they were advertising vacancies - when we were looking you could not get into Kings Bromley - it still is the one I would opt for - any idea on prices and what is available?

You need a Henderson MKIV pump, 10 metres of 1 1/2" bore hose, screwed adaptor and a hedgerow! Chris.
